Woo Hoo!

We are off and running I got my first donated quilt top for me to quilt... seriously hurrray!
Im so excited!
I went over to help some friends(Washington County Blankets of Hope) clean out the fiber closet at the facility since it was a holiday. The folks got some awesome donations and all the volunteers gathered together to go thru them and edit our stock etc.. etc..
I walked in and my girl friend said "Here, I brought this for the Community Action folks.. "...
What?? A donation....?? woo hooo!

So far we have 7 finished quilts and about 6 waiting to be quilted, bound or being quilted...
This is one I made as an experiment and am quilting in a sampler style. Different parts will have different styles of quilting so I can practice different skills..

I rawe edged the dots on and am pebbling around them. I think it will look pretty good when its done..and washed.

  1. Hi Rachel,

I'm sure I can whip up at least a few tops for you. :-) How about backings? Do you have any deadline for when they should be sent by?

  2. Hey, count me in! I love this idea. I'm in Oregon, so this is a great "local" way for me to give this winter.
I'm excited to look through my fabrics and get stitching!
Thanks for heading this up, God bless you!
